With all of the social media in our faces it’s hard when all you do is react. Are you tired of being the people of reaction? My humble recommendation is to open up your boxes and walk out! Seek out your neighbors. No matter who they are, build a friendship with them on common ground. Once you do that, try working with your neighbors and create activities in your neighborhood that will benefit everyone. Activates like a neighborhood daily walk. If you live in a building rather than a house, then you and your neighbors should organize this walk/run with families outside of your building daily.Our neighbors and I have found out that after we do our walk/run we naturally socialize for 10 to 15 minutes and that opens up conversations that seem natural and full of great talks. This is just the start, do what we do if you want, take a picture after your walk/run, startup your own private Facebook page to connect with deeper and personal connections with each other. No matter what you do get involved, just keep it consistent. You will be surprised how little things on a consistent bases make a big difference.
