Time after time, we give up on health & wellness (fitness) because we imprint in our minds false images of expectations for body shape, size, & weight. Don't set yourself up for failure. Food, stress, and family affairs affect all of us differently. My wife can eat a lot of salt without any effect on her blood pressure while I can feel mine rise when I consume large amounts of it. Similarly, cortisol (a stress hormone) can react differently in individuals, causing some people to not obtain results within the first six weeks of a new workout routine. Have role models but don't set the bar too high by desiring to be exactly like them. You are unique and beautiful and so is your body. Observe, educate, learn and study your body to understand its strengths and challenges. Get inspired by others but remember that it is your body that will be with you until the end of your life. Take good care of it the right way. The key is to stay consistent in whatever path you choose for health & wellness.
